Las Roncas is the bar at Hotel Indigo Guanajuato, which aims to capture the ambiance, culture, and traditions of Guanajuato through its design, food, and drinks. The name "Las Roncas" comes from a fragment of a poem about a famous man from Guanajuato who loved to sing and play the guitar: “...con las roncas cuerdas de su guitarra tocaba melodías...!” In designing the bar’s identity, two key elements were considered: the body and silhouette of a guitar, and the fretboard with its strings—both essential for creating melodies. The overall design features a vintage style reminiscent of traditional bars and cantinas found throughout the city.
